Justice of Allah

To be just means to be fair in each and every situation with no bias. An individual may not always comprehend the actions of another without knowing their intention. An example of this can be taken from Surah Kahf where Musa (as) doesn’t understand the actions of Al Khidr yet there was always a greater play at hand. The justness of Allah far expands this and even our comprehension of the word. He is Al-Adil (The All Just) in His creation as He is All Just in His legislation

Taking our world as an example, Earth is placed just the right distance from the sun and moon with the right amount of turn between day and night in order for life to be sustained. There is no contradiction or moderation. Allah swt says: “Verily, We (Allah) have created all things in due measure” (54:49)”

We are commanded to fast during the month of Ramadan which is only for 30 days. Any longer would have been unbearable and difficult to maintain. Allah says “Allah burdens not a self (person) beyond its scope” (2:286)

Even if you become ill or are travelling Allah swt makes exceptions for us. “(Observing the Fast is) for a fixed number of days; but if any of you is ill or on a journey, the same number (should be made up) from other days.” (2: 184)

Therefore, when we get to know how just Allah is we also understand what qualities we should have. We should be neither negligent nor extreme in this affair. To learn more about the Justice of Allah (swt) make sure you attend the 6th Steps to Allah Conference.
